Iraqi media reported that Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, Fatah Alliance leader Hadi al-Amiri and former deputy speaker of parliament Mohsen al-Mandalawi will visit Erbil tomorrow, Monday, to meet Kurdistan Democratic Party leader Masoud Barzani.
The delegation is then expected to travel to Sulaymaniyah to meet Patriotic Union of Kurdistan leader Bafel Talabani.
The main aim of the visit is reportedly to resolve the question of the presidency, on which the KDP and PUK still disagree.
Iraq's parliament is due to convene today to elect a president.
Last week, parliament postponed the presidential election session at the request of the KDP and PUK.
