Gulsel Mohammed: may God protect the sons and daughters of our city
Turkmen MP Gulsel Mohammed prayed for the souls of those killed in Kirkuk and asked God to protect the city's people from all harm.

Gulsel Mohammed, a Turkmen MP and rapporteur of Iraq's Council of Representatives, said on Thursday, 12 March 2026: “May God have mercy on the martyrs of Kirkuk and grant them paradise. We ask God to protect the sons and daughters of our city from all harm and to preserve peace and stability for Kirkuk and its people.”
“We also extend our condolences to the proud families of the martyrs and ask God to grant them patience and solace,” she added.
Last night in Kirkuk, an attack targeted a Popular Mobilisation Forces special forces battalion headquartered at the PMF secretariat behind Imam Jaafar al-Sadiq University.
According to the latest information from Kirkuk's hospitals, four fighters were killed and about 10 were wounded.
