Iraqi Turkmen Front: rumours of nominations to specific posts are untrue
The Iraqi Turkmen Front said reports circulating on social media in various parts of Turkmeneli from unknown sources about the nomination of certain people to specific posts are completely false and baseless.

The Iraqi Turkmen Front's media office said on Sunday, 7 December 2025, that all reports circulating on social media in various parts of Turkmeneli (Mosul, Tal Afar, Erbil, Kirkuk, Salahaddin, Tuz Khurmatu, Diyala and Kifri) from unknown sources about the nomination of certain individuals to specific posts are completely untrue and baseless.
The front stressed that any names or information circulating on these pages are inaccurate and fabricated and in no way represent the position of its leadership.
It said any administrative or organisational change within its ranks is carefully considered and decided by the leadership, and is not announced through social media or unfounded sources.
The notice was issued by the leadership to clarify the facts and prevent the spread of rumours aimed at disrupting the organisation of the Iraqi Turkmen Front, the statement said.
