Erbil Asayish issues warning to media outlets

Erbil Asayish said on Friday, 6 March 2026, that to protect security and allow specialised teams to work properly at incident sites, all media outlets must act responsibly and refrain from covering incident scenes.

It said such coverage draws crowds, causes congestion and obstructs its teams at the scene, adding that any outlet that does not comply will bear responsibility.
