Two senior Baghdad delegations arrive in Erbil
Efforts to resolve outstanding issues between the Kurdistan Regional Government and Baghdad are continuing: a technical delegation from Baghdad has arrived in Erbil, and a senior decision-making delegation is expected today or tomorrow.

A technical delegation from the Iraqi government arrived in Erbil via Erbil International Airport on Thursday, 26 June 2025, to discuss salaries, the resumption of oil exports and other issues between the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.
A senior Iraqi government delegation made up of Deputy Prime Minister Fuad Hussein, Oil Minister Hayyan Abdulghani and members of the Economic Council is due to visit the Kurdistan Region this evening or on Saturday morning to discuss salaries and the resumption of the region's oil exports with senior regional officials.
