Hasan Turan congratulates Turkmen press on 115 years
Former Iraqi Turkmen Front leader Hasan Turan issued a message marking Turkmen Press Day, 25 February 1911, and paid tribute to Turkmen journalists.

The text of Hasan Turan's message reads:
“We warmly congratulate the Turkmen press in Iraq on the 115th anniversary of its founding, a rich media heritage that from its very beginning has been an aware voice and means of expression for Turkmen identity and national issues.”
“We commend the journalists and media professionals in our community for their efforts and professional responsibility in conveying the facts, preserving our national memory and our cause, and upholding the values of freedom of expression and professional commitment,” he added.
