Hasan Turan congratulates Kirkuk Governor Mohammed Samaan Agha

With great pride and honour, we extend our warmest congratulations to Mr Mohammed Samaan Agha, leader of the Iraqi Turkmen Front, on assuming the post of Kirkuk governor. This long-awaited achievement is the culmination of a long history of sacrifice by the Turkmen people to secure their legitimate rights and establish their authentic national presence.

The realisation of our project, which embodies the principle of rotating Kirkuk's top posts, is a significant historic achievement and a key step towards securing our people's right to govern their province. It guarantees the continuity of this right for future generations and strengthens the foundations of justice and national partnership.

We also commend the responsible and patriotic role of the members of the Kirkuk Provincial Council and their efforts to make this achievement a success, reflecting their commitment to the public interest and to institutional stability.
